Eastern Wood-Pewee
I was sitting on the back porch hoping to see a humming bird when this little one flew by and landed on a branch a few feet away. He was not very colorful so I made this a monochrome. It is a pretty little thing. I do wish I knew what kind of bird he is.

It turned out to be a very artistic moment!! I see lots of birds from our kitchen window, but never have a camera nearby.

"The Mountain Stalker", somewhat rare bird that is known for its "stalking" of elephants in blueberry fields. Not dangerous, one of the few woodland creatures that aren't.

I was wrong about thinking it was a Titmouse...The tufted Titmouse has a crest on its head...My husband who knows his birds says it is either a Phoebe..or an Eastern Wood Peewee...
