Q: Any idea when the 'Hands on' competition will be judged?

A: Do you know?

Why such a fantastical name? Because 'Banana Bread' doesn't have any zazz to it.

You may consider signing the attached legal waiver before consuming in case you love it so much you do slap yo mama.

1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
1 1/2-2 cups mashed bananas-about 3 or 4 (the riper the better)
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
0, I repeat 0 cups chopped nuts (I hate chopped nuts)
1/2-3/4 cup mini chocolate chips (regular size chips tend to settle on bottom but will still do)

Heat oven to 350. Grease loaf pan (9x5 or so). Mix sugar and butter. Stir in eggs. Add bananas, water, vanilla and beat like a rented mule. Add everything else, pour in pan and bake.

At this point you should go to the store and stock up on milk or perhaps be good to yourself. Have someone rub your feet. That's always pleasant.

An hour or so later take out of oven and cool. Then eat. Commence slapping.

Does anyone else see the smiley face on the surface of the bread? Great lighting and color.
