  It is not artificial to the artist; it is very real. This is one of the best seascape paintings I have seen in quite some time. I love the layers, and a frame very similar hangs in my hallway, the accompanying image reads "If you do not have time to do it right; you must have time to do it over"

  ive thought about this long and hard..............there's 2 or 3 things that can kill humanism:
  
  (1) one's own self-imposed criticism and (2) people who love what you do.
