My wife & I stopped to admire this wall, because of the variety of colors and materials it comprises. In this tiny section, there's stucco, 2 kinds of brick, cinder block, plywood, plank, and some weird kind of stuccoed-over sheet of chicken wire hanging like a tongue from the middle window sill. Walkerville and neighboring Butte were once among the richest towns in the world. Now the mines are closed, and there's little to keep the whole community from collapsing.
