Ogmore Castle is situated on the banks of the Ewenny River in South Wales in the UK. It was built around 1100 and formed part of the crucial line of Norman defence against the Welsh. It is now a beautiful ruin and attracts many visitors. Next to the castle there are stepping stones over the river. At high tide you can not see them as the river is so high and would be very dangerous to attempt to cross at this time.
It is a beautiful part of the country and if you cross over you come to Wales' tallest sand dunes at Merthyr Mawr.
