  Those composite flags are found here too -- during the tourist season. "My" flag, the one in the lower left-hand corner here, was used as an example very recently by the Italian prime minister of symbols containing religious symbolism -- his outraged response to the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights that crucifixes should not be displayed in Italian classrooms... (You may have discarded your photo, but it's still a good one, not only because it ties into current news stories!)
