    Great capture that conveys an atmosphere of mystery. I'd propably crop out the lower dark part of the foreground that doesn't add to the picture.

    Andreas - thanks for the comment (I love criticism). I have this photo up at another site, where it was unintentionally cropped to remove some of the bottom. Personally, I didn't like the result, but that's only my opinion (I'd be interested in what others think (www.newchemicalhistory.com/brendanbaker). I am, however, probably over-attracted to dark sections in my photography, and it seems the stronger black I have, the more I like it. May not be the case with everyone.

    I like the horizon as well, and the dark part at the bottom, in my opinion, really adds to the perspective of the photo. Great shot!
