A fine touch of sadness,
too kind from this heart.
Far greater are the values of the lonely,
fewer are the numbers.
who over-indulge
in the slaying.
So quick...that the children never grow.
Teaching with reason,
makes students of us all.
Tightly bound together,
we strive to break away.
Yet, here I am again,
back for torment.
When will I ever learn?
Not without a reason.

Absolute beauty, wonderful words and image. Sad all the lives that have been distracted or destroyed by that substance, mine is one of them, recovery is a long process but clearly much easier with time. Peace. dp
