so as i was saying about the spilled pigment on the street... another thing that had caught my eye was the cigarette stub; high contrast up against the blue.

problem was that i was shooting low and not looking through the lens, so when i finally saw the full image, there was a slight motion blur and not as sharp as i would have liked it. went back an hour later and the whole scene had taken on a different color.
