A lot of us students had class or lectures or discussions during this strike. One person was smart enough to bring his homework with him. As we marched in a giant circle blocking all entrances into the school (our goal was to "shut down" the school as a demonstration), this student sat down and began doing his homework. People began writing with chalk in the road. This Photo is very representative of our situation as UC students. We are trying and working our hardest, trying to get the most of our education. Yet we are being ignored, the MAN, the UC REGENTS, basically the COMPANY, wants to make more profit. We are being stepped on, being ignored, being silenced and kicked out of school. Just because we can't afford an education...
