Light is as important in our life as it is in photography and we work with it as the light works with us...I did something different in this self portrait this evening. I placed pink light bulbs in the lamps on the dressing table with a stronger wattage for this existing light shot. The mirror is of course in back of me and you can see my hand reflecting more of the lamp in the mirror.

This is so charming. The shot has such a nostalgic feel to it. I remember singing this song in Sunday School. I believe Truman was in office. :)

I have been toying with this song and had a few images I wanted to combine but I just couldn't "get my little light to shine" with many things going on in my life but I think it is a brilliant song and wonderful reminder to let it all hang out, be yourself in what ever your endeavor.
