I think we got about 8 inches of heavy, wet, snow here on top of the hill.

Fred, we got eight also. I think we're at similar altitude? (900'). Our power was out for much of the day due to - as you say - heavy, wet snow. This would be a beautiful photo, but it reminds me of being snowed in with no heat! 8-)
