Water - it's cool that that element can be a solid or a liquid and both make "waves." Both waves are ever-changing, one more slowly than the other but, both can be "frozen" by the action of a camera.

These are obviously frozen waves - created by the "Great Snow Storm in Washington DC - 2009."

    yeah white snow...almost like you know how to do it! I spent way too much time throwing this stuff around this morning to really have a "warm and fuzzy" about it, but you have to love how the scent of the air after a good snowstorm. The tones in this shot really are exceptionally good. Just think, only 5 golden rings 'till Christmas and then it all just becomes snow again
