Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

Well, with her short legs, her belly probably is in the snow. LOL So do you dry her off when you bring her in? I bet she loves that! My dog always did. Grin

From this angle she looks to be tied out in the snow. I know better though. Great Saturday shot.

Finally we get to see Sophie in this series! Love this one, and do have some sympathy for Sophie, anything dragging in the snow can get mighty cold! ;-)

I love this sweet little hound doggie. But I do hope she's not out in the cold too long. I also dry our dog's feet when she comes inside. I know you must love her and would never leave her out too long in the cold. No animal deserves that.

Sophie is a rescue and has many issues. We never let her run because her nose would take her somewhere and we'd never see her again or she'd be hit by a car or truck (she wants to chase anything that moves, the bigger the better). No matter what the weather, we don't leave her out long because she'd dig to China, chew her rope, or bark until you came and got her.

Sophie sounds like the archetypal canine! Love your garden photo series; Sophie in the foreground makes this a particular favourite.

I love all the snow in your lovely back yard. Poor short legged dogs have it rough in the snow. Our dachshund would never make it.
