HEY we got SNOW, two years in a row now..
I know you guys will laugh at this little bit of snow but I think when you see how the people turn out here to wonder at it, you will understand how unusual this is in Rosslare.
This is the local Golf Course overrun with people, kids schreeching in delight.
New Year's Day...what a great start to the year..

I'd rather be golfing, but glad you are enjoying the snow!!! A friend of mine is climbing Carauntoohil today (Sunday) with a small group, and delighted for the snow. Cheers from Canada, where there is snow for 4 1/2 months of the year.

Love the image...looks like everyone is having fun....We are so used to snow that we take it for granted...but I can fully understand it would be exciting if you only get it rarely.

I can so relate to this, Eithne. We rarely get snow in Dallas and when we do usually just a dusting. This past Christmas Eve areas of Dallas got three inches of snow. Adults as well as children acted like it was the best Christmas gift they could get. Now we're in for some very cold weather.
