Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

no, we haven't moved yet - hence the sheriff's notice. not like we haven't been trying - have put four contracts on houses in 6 months and not gotten one of them.

our own home: while the foreclosure was warranted, did not do a proper foreclosure (no service to heirs) so the house will just sit empty for months on end... the bank won' t be able to convey clear title - so it will sit empty and rot like the rest of the foreclosures across america...

    two words: black mold.

I don't know why they won't just let us live in it and keep it up and running (well sort of) while we actively home search. it's a tough market right now...the only houses we're finding are ones that were foreclosed on (like mine) and the people were evicted (ahem) and the house mildews and rots and goes to "seed." and they truly need to then be gutted or demolished.

sad fact of life right now.

anyway, we may have to store everything and rent for 6 months somewhere..maybe we'll consider it a vacation...keep dreaming... ;o)
