Sorrow at the Chapel
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

My neighbor, a retired doctor, lost his wife, and then, three days later, his dog, to cancer, the week after Chrstmas. He did not tell me this when it happend, as I hardly knew him. He has lived near, and I've seen him over the back fences for three years, as he tends his horse, but we hardly spoke. However, his car was stuck in recent blizzard snow that fell here, and we chanced upon him, stuck. We gave him a lift to a military chapel where he had married his wife. Here, he sat and told us of her death, and wept. Here, he waits for some old photos of her. It is so odd that this category opened the day I downloaded these images. I am honored to know my neighbor now, and have an opportunity to help him in perhaps his greatest time of need.
I am reminded of a beautiful biblical quote, "Come to me, all ye who travail and are heavy laden, and I will refresh you....."
And also one from Elvis, "You saw me crying in the chapel...." Elvis just had his 75th birthday pass, and so did my new friend and neighbor, Dr. Murphy.
