Kayakers shown on the Milner Mile of the Snake River in Idaho. This section of river rarely has water due to irrigation needs, its a mile long section that drops a little over 100 feet per mile. Add 10,000 to 17,000cfs, and you get monster hydraulics. Spring high water years let kayakers really see some big water kayaking in Idaho. Photo taken by Mike Leeds.
