Perito Moreno Glacier

The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Argentina. Is one of only three Patagonian glaciers that are not retreating. The terminus of the Perito Moreno Glacier is 5 km wide, with an average height of 60 meters above the surface of the water, with a total ice depth of 170 meters. If you look closer, you can see the people in front of the glacier at the left side of the picture, this will give you an idea about how big this glacier is.

    I normally don't like these type of landscape photos, but this is a really amazing sight. The glacier seems massive in this photo. Good job capturing that.

    Noah X, it's not an aerial shot, it's from the first runway, where you can see the whole glacier, if you keep walking forward to the glacier, you have 400 yards from this point until you get to the last runway which is at the bottom of the glacier...
