This is the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. It's a sad but useful reminder of one of the horrors of WW2. It was designed by the arch. Peter Eisenman.
The most interesting thing about it is that you can really experience it: you become part of the memorial by getting into it... touching the stones, getting lost inside the labyrinth...
