What I love about this shot is that it doesn't have the typical orange sunset look to it. Gorgeous capture! And LOL @ Michael!

I know, MIchael. Even I am laughing. That's almost what I feel like when I post another pond photo. I have so many now. I'm almost appologetic as I put them in here, but you know, they are never the same. Every sunset is different as a snowflake. Last night my husband and I went out on foot to try to catch the incredible sunset. He wanted to photograph trees, I wanted to photograph the pond. Our poor dog likes all his ducks to be in a row. It drives him nuts when we split up and go in opposite directions. Finally, in his emotional tug of war, he RAN to me, at the pond. But I did not know he was there until he splashed into the water right in front of me. SO COLD. But it did not phase him. Well, there went the 39.00 Petco bath that he had 3 days before hand. He was so sandy that I had to give him a bath before I could bring him back in. He LOVED it. I guess it was an easy decision for him...hmmm...stay with Dad by the trees...go to Mom by the pond...hey, swimming would be great...YEA.....GALLOP GALLOP GALLOP, pant, pant, SPLASH!!!!

No, I slid the color bar in hue saturation to get this color. I'll post the original now. I liked this one a lot, even though the colors are altered. That is the only thing I changed.

Don't even think about being apologetic. These are beautiful pictures. P.S. Every dog we have ever had would always choose the water. Always.

Linda, I did not know until the end of your comment above that your "old dog" really was your dog, and not your husband!!! LOL. This is a mystical, beautiful pondscape.
