It is a foggy day today here so I went into my photos to find some colorful photos to post to brighten up the day. This photo and the following one are taken in a park near downtown Houston and shows how they make the areas with the long sprawling branches of the oak tree to look nice plus protect them. I especially like this area with the garden placed under the branches and a fountain in the garden. It's a great area to sit on a pretty day and just enjoy being outdoors.

So beautiful! I'm so glad they didn't cut the branches that went across the walk-way!

Very pretty....right now we have more snow predicted so this is a nice reminder that after winter comes spring and pretty flowers...

I love the oaks Ann. They have so much more character than the pines I am used to seeing. It is tree heaven in Texas. Terrific capture. I can hardly wait until Spring.

My this is a beautiful composition......and do I ever love those colorful flowers. The brick encircling the flowers and tree is very lovely....I like the texture it adds to the scene. Very well done, Ann!
