Howdy, Saturday lovers! Still no high heel replacement…..I think the mailman might have lost the lead sled dog; hopefully by next week the mail will have gotten through. In the meantime, I have been understandably concerned about Rob’s stated disappointment regarding my dearth of canvassed neighbors in last Saturday’s post. Wasn’t it PT Barnum that said something about not being able to please all the people all the time? Or was he the ‘there’s a sucker born every minute’ guy? I can never remember! On a related note, did you realize there are over 100 manufacturers of candy suckers in the U.S., and that’s just the companies whose name begins with A, B or C? Isn’t Google amazing?!?!?
In any case, because I am always concerned about the happiness of my fellow JPG’ers, I decided to follow through and canvas the rest of the neighbors. Well, guess what……they’re all out blowing and shoveling snow!! But not easily defeated, I was able to gather all the neighborhood children, and canvas them. Aren’t they adorable?!?!? I apologize in advance if the photo is lacking in clarity and detail; two things should be obvious—the snow is quite deep, and I didn’t have a lot of time to waste before these little suckers became popsicles!!

Thanks to Oregon Curly for the theme…same shot, same spot, every Saturday for a year.

It`s a lovely shot Susan, and you have about the same amount of snow as we got here at the to love the neighbour kids...they got good manners and can not be very noisy

WOW one of my favorite things!! KiddiePops! Hillarious and well set-up. The narrative is perfection. Donald, I don't know about living with her, but we have visited with them (in person!) and both she and Jimmy are absolutely delightful people and are welcome here any time. SUSAN, heads up, you will have more snow in a couple days, big storm supposed to hit here tomorrow. Maybe we'll get rain instead of the piddly 2 or 3 inches of mist. ;-)

Ron, that's our snow depth gauge. We start using it once the snow gets too deep to use the kids; looks like we should start using it any time now.

AMAZING how you pull yourself out of a jam, Susan!!! ROFL!!! I count 7 little neighborhood children here... judging by their suspected height, might there be a correlation to the 7 Dwarfs? Wouldn't that indeed make you Snow White? :~) Great recovery, Susan!! I'm loving it!!
