What It Was Like to Capture the Aftermath of the...

I just couldn't resist capturing the light coming through the stained glass windows in Hohenzollern Castle, illuminating the statue and suit of armor. Burg Hohenzollern, located in the Swäbische Alb, was the summer home of Frederick the Great. (a photo scan...thus all the dust specks)

the magic of the medieval capture! Those stain glass windows filter just the right amount of lighting through and onto the statue. Wonderful!

So very beautiful, Don. One of your best. I especially enjoy the reflected colors of the stained glass on the archway, along with the magnificant sunrays. I was wondering if there are cloisters there, or if that is a single arch. No matter, this photograph is one to which I will keep returning, always finding something new about it to admire!!!! Bravo!
