Late last summer I had an opportunity to shoot my first concert. It was a Sick Puppies show in Toledo and a friend of mine was able to get me a photographer pass. Although I have to admit that I’m not really into the band, I learned a lot from the experience. I think I took somewhere near 1000 pictures in roughly 30 minutes and I ended up liking maybe 15 of them. That is a 1.5% success rate. Each new opportunity in life allows us to grow on personal and professional levels. While the results of those opportunities may not always be what we wanted, they still allow us to learn from our mistakes and ultimately evolve as individuals.
