Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days...Ecclesiastes 11:1

I decided to pose with this old bread board before the design wears off completely..The paint is fading out over the years. I have always liked the verse, in the Kitchen Prayer and for what it stands for.

I guess you can say in a sense I have cast my bread upon the waters considering the many self portraits I have done this past year...I never dreamed I would set it out to do this as I am basically a very shy person...nor would I have thought that I would stick with it this long. The time is really going quickly now and there is only 5 days left of the 1/365 project.

The lighting is perfect, and you look more lovely than ever, Andrea. You are going to have to come up with a new idea for a diary....or do this one again. I just one of many who looks forward to seeing your creative shot everyday. So put your thinking cap on and let us know what you decide. I really hope you continue with a new photo on a daily basis, my friend!

I am going to miss them as well Andrea. It has been fun watching you come out of your shell and open up yourself and your life to us. Your journey with light has been a beautiful one! I do hope you don't quit all together. A beautiful SP again today. Now, you will always have your verse.

I am not anxious to get to the end of your series. You have learned so many new things, and have shared with us what you have learned. You have become quite accomplished at the art of the SP.

I agree that you have done well in the 1/365 series! It's a great, but challenging theme to take a daily SP and I think that all of us that have done it feel like we learned some thing about ourselves and photography along the way.

Im gonna miss thes sp's too... i am to shy to do - thought about it and have taken the shots, just never posted.. I have no nerve

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I agree with Ann that we do learn a lot about ourselves and photography in self portraits..Linda, the best way to get over shyness is to do and post daily self portraits ...If you have taken the shots already and know how to do it, you are half way there...I have said this many times..I find it more comfortable to take my own portraits when there is no one else watching or taking the picture of me ..If I don't like the picture I just delete it without hurting anyone's feelings...
