I shot this picture of the moon over our snowy driveway on January 29th. I should have used a tripod rather than to handhold as I would have got a much sharper image...But I was in too much of a hurry and it was freezing outside. If there was a camera shake it was because of the slow shutter speed and the cold. I was hoping to get a better picture the next evening because the full moon was supposed to be out again the same time at 6:30 PM...however, it was cloudy and didn't see the moon:) Live and learn!
But after all that is said and done, I am liking this picture of the moon more and more. I consider it a lucky shot that I got out there in time, when the next evening the full moon decided to hide behind the clouds. The moon will always come back another time and maybe next time I will be ready with my tripod.

If you hadn't mentioned the camera shake, many of us novices would not have noticed! It is a beautiful shot. My mother always added a corollary to "Live and learn....die and forget it all."

Thank you everyone...I am liking this picture better now and it is growing on me...When I first viewed it, I thought the moon could be a little sharper. However, I am just thankful that I got the image that I did with the snow underneath it showing up...My lens only zooms to 200mm so naturally the moon would not show up as large and would take in more scenery but in this case scenario maybe scenery is a good thing.
