One of the first images I posted on JPG back in 2008 and I never really liked the edit so I finally redid it and glad I did.
Shot on film, this is the only shot I took at this spot. We were on our way from one location to the other and as we were slipping through the fence I said hold it! 'click' ok lets go. I love that he seemed to know exactly what I wanted.

urban how? I think of barbed wire as being rural

Barbed wire can be rural but when I think barbed wire I think of institutions, factories, airports and even some schools. Do an image search and there are lots of examples of barbed wire in urban settings. I use the word urban more metaphorically, taking something natural and replacing it with something metal or man made is more what Im going for with the title.
