I really like the triangle both him and the bench form. It's significant that his body forms the longer side--I always thought this was the most important side because it closes the shape as it is always the last one we draw. Really, great portrait.

nesse triangulo seja talvez eu a hipotenusa
a parte que finaliza e limita tamanha triangulaçao
eis que alguem tem que haver como ponte entre os catetos
todavia ha de se fazer cotovia alguem que alem do canto traga o encanto
do cantico que ha na imagem translucida e piramidal pois esses catetos podem ser os braços de quem acolha o corpo diagonal mas que ao se juntar componha o vertice triangular do angulo e da objetiva
dessa retina diapositiva que obtura o instaneo
e marca naquele ali e naquele agora
o atimo na eternidade: o olho magico
