I liked the story that accompanied this picture but I would have liked it more had you included sample pictures (taken with the lens) to prove how great the pictures are rather than just stating so! Are any of the pictures in your stream taken with this lens?

My favorite lens.. I f you own a Canon and dont have one please smack yourself, then go spend $70 and get it.

Kirsten, good point. The pictures here taken with that lens are 'Looking out on the world', 'Exploring', 'Rolling in it', 'Cherubic', and 'Fionnuala' - so a bunch of them. I'll add a couple to the story - thanks for the suggestion.

Glad to help - the only downside I can think of is that you have to spend a great deal of money to get the same image quality in a zoom, so I now have expensive tastes in lenses that comes from buying a really cheap (but great) one!
