Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

Awesome B&W. I don't know why the desert looks so good in B&W. Maybe it's all those cheesy horror movies I saw as a child... Nice work

    stupendous work.

the shadows force and pry the image here, creating dramatic tension, but the rocks stabilize everything and establish a "safety zone" for the image's tonal range.

beautifully done. one of the best I've seen on JPG.
