Picking subject or a scene exposed to the changing elements of nature offers photographers insightful, as well as artistic opportunities. Last week “Mother Nature” invited me to watch the dramatic snow show going on outside my windows in Monterosi, Italy. The performance started with a few dancing flakes that suddenly whipped into a blizzard, where all felt lost. The following scene change slipped into a blue phase of melancholy. Then sunlight broke through in the next act, bringing happiness and in time a blissful moment of enlightenment.
Note: Intended to turn this into a photo essay and then realized I'm short a shot. The only editing I did on all of them was a bit of cropping.
