Rooftop Dinner

While walking around the Golden Temple in Amritsar, a group of girls befriended us (me and my 2 female friends). She ended up showing us round the town and invited us to meet her family at her house and 'take a food'. While on her rooftop which had amazing views of every one else living their lives and some boys playing cricket in the alley, I wandered over to the left side of her rooftop, and looked down. I saw these guys preparing dinner, they smiled at me and I produced my camera and nodded for approval - and they kept smiling - so I took the photo!

Your narratives add so much to your photos. Thank you for taking the time to give us the frame of reference for each photo. It is like sharing a piece of your life. This is a wonderful glimpse into the lifestyle there. How interesting that they use their rooftops to expand their living.

You do nice work David! I take it this is in India. It reminds me of Thailand. My wife comes from there. I've seen a similar scene many times outside my wife's house. I'm going back to Thailand in December and I'm aiming to load up on photos for JPG.
