How sad and moving Jason :( Did you find it frozen in the snow?

Jason Platt said (27 Feb 2010):
I was initially alarmed at what I thought in the dark was a rather large rat climbing my front steps when I would get my mail in the evening..I last saw my furry friend a week ago around his usual spot but then recently after a storm found him on the sidewalk gone as he is now and had to take a picture..Was surprised at the size which was as big as a cat...

These things make my skin crawl but you have done such a wonderful job capturing the sad end to him. The clarity is amazing here as well as the colors and tones.

Wonderful image for the theme...I will never forget the possum who got in our basement many years ago..We heard something go thump..thump..thump in the middle of the night on the basement steps....My brave husband went to see what it was...It sounded like a wild bob cat growling and hissing...Our dog that we had at that time ran under the bed...I hid under the blankets..My husband said, "let go" and I thought oh no.....He had picked it up by the tail to
take it outside and the possum's tail coiled around his arm like a strong vise.
He called for me to open the outside door so he could release it...I saw some
wicked sharp fangs growling and hissing with glittering eyes and it looked like a big ugly rat.....the good news is that after I opened the door, the possum uncoiled its tail from my husband's arm and took off running...
You definitely have my vote...Pretty ugly yeah rad:) -
