Q: Story of the week

A: Do you know?

I have been away for quite awhile. My computer quit on me but I got it working again. I recently purchased a super wide Diana Lens. It's a little wider than my 50mm but not much. I think I am going to purchase the Diana fisheye lens so I can get a little wider. I took a trip to the lake to try out the lens. The lens seems to be pretty good for contrasty images. I went with a different process with these images. They are extremely soft. Almost have a painterly effect to them. Kind of a nostalgic feel to them. For those not familiar with the Diana lenses, they are cheap plastic lenses made for the plastic Diana camera. You can purchase adapters for them to work on digital slr's. I can see using them for certain type of images. I think they create a nice mood and feel.
