Some times when I post images to JPG, the color gets sucked right out of them. This is a re-posted attempt to make the image look like it does on my computer screen.

It happens to me to Charles. Very frustrating. I wish my website was set up so you could like them to that picture. This is a great capture.

Wonderful! THe samething happens to me ---the colors often come out way too dark on JPG. Even worse when comparing the image here to a real print.

This is always a difficult problem - how does the image look online to others? I've got a Spyder 3, and a Dell monitor. This has helped me get pretty much the same on my screen as online. The previous image appears normal in colour tones to me. This one appears over-saturated. I don't know what you are going for as far as how much saturation. I go back and forth on this also. Lately, I just leave things alone. I'm trying for natural, before I really liked super saturated colours. So, basically I can appreciate both. Compo wise, I really like this though.

I forgot to add that it seems people like the super strong colours - it seems to take more and more to make an impact. Personally, some days I would lvoe to return to simplicity and mono images. :))

I've encountered that same issue, and I don't know what causes it. Converting to SRGB helps, but not always. Great image - has a Fernand Leger sensibility
