Portuguese Dreams
The Adraga beach at sunset, considered by the English newspaper "The Sunday Times" as one of the 20 most beautiful beaches in Europe.
Small and perfectly formed, Adraga is at the end of a single-track road from the village of Almoçageme. A sand crescent tucked between tall cliffs and the swelling Atlantic, this beach can be wild and wonderful, with great surfing breakers pounding the shore. On an August weekend, you may have to share, but out of season it’s all yours.
