Thank you all! RV, that was Alex fish snacks. Deb & Don,this was at my daughter's place in Sacramento. Both of you are right, that was a protective barrier. At this age, Alex is becoming so curious with everything and this also will prevent her in going to the kitchen which is just adjacent.
