Another image of the old jail in Jerome Arizona shows the prisioner's cot with its metal handles in lonesome vigilance. The boarded up barred window and the crumbling wall that made up the front of the hellish jailhouse, along with the myriad of graffiti was the contrasting red paint stating the lament of "I Had a Better Time in Hell" amke for a great photograph. No doubt a stay here in it's heyday was a stay in Hell indeed, with the harsh climate, blistering sun during the day, and bone chilling cold at night. No plants visible in the interior, no doubt they had no wish to get inside.

Nice shot. I believe I have read about Jerome in "True West" magazine.

Love the framing of this structure! Especially with Hell written in it!
