New England is noted for its interesting stone walls. As farmers plowed their fields, they were faced with the problem of what to do with all those granite stones from New England's rocky soil. So they put them to practical use.

When I shot this, I was experimenting with depth of field, and I liked the way the wall seemed to stretch to the horizon.

The rock fencing must have been introduced to Australia by our convict settlers, they are just like these! Wonderful composition Nanacy.
