Xanadu - Home of the Future
Submitted to The World of Tomorrow
A now demolished (to the best of my knowledge) tourist "attraction" in Orlando. I noticed it while driving past it and felt compelled to stop. Most of the windows were broken, squatters had taken up residence and the small pool more closely resembled a cesspool.
I have no doubt that the place was really impressive when it was built - but as with real life, our vision of the future is usually pretty flawed...
