And in the beginning there was only one toilet.
This is part of a series I 'plan'....some day to turn into some sort of bookish type thing.
It will be called:
"Journey Into the Land of Plart...
(In Search of the Deep, Dark Doodles)
Comic style drawings with a bit of an edge--and some with a little more bite.
Some years ago I was trying to be resourceful (as an art teacher), and came up with 'Plate Art'= 'Plart'.
Since it rhymes with fart, I knew the kids would like it. Since paper plates were and are cheaper than drawing paper, I desided to use them for projects of all kinds. Since I have been a doodler all my life, I started with that. The cool thing is that paper plates are already shaped and framed, so they are ready-made for display--as well. I don't think I can do one each day, but at least once a week for the 365 Theme. So in my case, it will take 7 years--which is good enough for a dog, and that's good enough for me. JH

I am glad I came back! It is fabulous and I look forward to more. I remembering coloring and glueing things to paper plates as a kid. Art is so much fun.

I loveI love this and that finally you are bringing out your art James. This is your own 365 days though because there is no self portrait incorporated in it.
