This is a different take on

With gratitude to Pascal Fellonneau, whose wonderful images gave me (among other pleasures) a new way of looking at fences.

The "Afterthought" images are from the same trip as the "Road Marker" series. I posted the "Road Marker" images while I was traveling, but now that I'm back I found a few more that I like - I hope you'll enjoy these "afterthoughts".

Great and incredible afterthoughts - I wish mine were like this.. I think I can see where you shot a previous image here - the tree shadow on the fence?

I like this one a whole lot better than 2323314. Incredible sense of depth, and the snow clad mountains in the background really do it for me!

Agree with Simon, i'd be very happy if i had such afterthoughts. Excellent image and yes the tree shadow is really great even though i'm not definitely sure it's a tree shadow.

amazing. maximum visibility -- accompanied by a feeling of something left hidden, clarity of lines -- yet confusion lurks around, and immediate confinement -- paired with freedom assuringly awaiting to be reached.

plus familiar/ unfamiliar etc.: a world of opposing possibilities beautifully coexisting in one little square frame
