This used to be a beautiful river in LuoXiancun. A village that survived independent of the rest of the world for hundreds of years by using stone tools. They have continued being resilent, despite this latest drought. They have been carrying water from caves, building irrigation canals, and stringing together long lines of hoses to water their fields. They have been using greenhouses for their strawberries for years and look like they will survive the drought.
In the Drought in Guizhou...Rain, rain, please come here. photo essay.
