if it isn't the middle of the summer, and you've checked beforehand to make sure that all the fish haven't just died again, and you like run down buildings, then i highly recommend taking a trip to the salton sea. it's full of photogenic rubble and beaches made up of fish bones. and it's prefectly still, so the reflections are amazing.
(i do mean about checking for fish. trust me on this.)
