Temple
Originally built in 1929 as a Masonic temple, but never completed and an eyesore to the skyline of Providence, this example of remarkable neoclassical architecture has been meticulously restored to its natural beauty as the Renaissance Providence Hotel. The hotel's aptly named restaurant, Temple, is one of Providence's new and trendy places to eat. After all, how many restaurants have both graffiti and marble columns as their key decorations? This treasure was over 80 years in the making!
My first (intentional) attempt at a double exposure. Also, my first roll of film on my new Holga 120CFN! All this and I used some old AGFA film that I did not (I repeat did not) cross process! More experimentation, yeah! To say I am happy with the results would be more than a mild understatement...
You can purchase this, and other photos of mine at mylatehope.imagekind.com.
Created using a Holga 120CFN with 20(!?!) year expired AGFA Chrome 50 RS Professional (iso 50) slide film. Positive (slide) scanned with an HP Scanjet 4890. No digital manipulation used!

this is beautiful, I particularly like what seems to be a misplaced T. Gotta love Holgas.
