Barberry Hill Farm is a local, family-owned farmstead in Madison that was established in 1909. One of the owners, Kingsley Goddard, showed me through their greenhouse, which is chock stock of 40,000 varieties of plants, including an prided, eclectic collection of heirloom seeds, to-be fresh cut flowers and many more things I couldn’t remember if I tried. Each of those trays can hold either 410 or 512 plants. In this moderately-sized greenhouse, a whole season of produce is cultivated.
