Henri Cartier-Bresson has always been my favorite photographer. Seizing the decisive moment in a shot is always a matter a good eye and luck. If it triggers an emotion, memory or desire to think about the story of the people involved you have done well. If not, it still makes you really concentrate more on the surroundings and people, you might normally never see, which is probably the real value. He remains the master. This shot was just a small decision point in San Francisco of someone who had probably seen better days.
