If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

THIS ISN'T MUCH OF AN EDIT.ALL I DID WAS SOME MINOR CONTRASTING AND COLOR ,ALL ON THE PROGRAM THAT CAME WITH MAC.
THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO DO ON THE REAL IMAGE IS TO GET RID OF THE GLARE SPOTS,I THOUGHT IT WAS DUST ON THE LENS WHICH IS A PISSER TO BEGIN WITH BUT IT'S LITTLE PATCHES OF REFLECTION OFF THE TURKEY'S FEATHERS.
HE WAS 10 FEET AWAY, WALKING AROUND ME AND KEEPING HIS HEN THAT HE WAS ABOUT TO SHAG IN SITE ...THERE WHERE TWO OTHERS IN HIDING BUT HIM AND THE HEN OFF CAMERA, DIDN'T CARE THAT I WAS THERE..
AND THE BONUS ,GREAT LIGHT ..I END UP WITH BAD LIGHT A LOT OF THE TIME AND GET THAT 100 +MM BLUR ,ALL BECAUSE I HAVE THE LENS COMPLETELY ZOOMED IN AND AT 1/60 OF A SEC. AND CAN'T TELL IF IT'S THERE TILL I ENLARGE THE PIC ..AND WHEN IT HAPPENS. THE SEEMINGLY ENDLESS SLEW OF FOUR LETTER WORDS CAN BE HERD THROUGH OUT THE STUDIO.
DON'T BUG OUT WITH THE BLUR THING ,A LOT OF PROS,STILL GO THROUGH IT TO. WHEN IT COMES TO NATURAL LIGHT AND IT'S UNPREDICTABLE NATURE,IT HAPPENS .
I ACTUALLY HAVE TO GET A POLARIZER FOR THE NEW CAMERA,BUT IT DOES ELIMINATE A FULL F STOP /+2 ON THE LENS. AND THAT ONE F STOP CAN BE THE
FACTOR ,WHEN YOUR PHOTOGRAPHING IN SHADE OR INDIRECT LIGHT ,BUT ON MY OTHER CAMERAS(35MM FILM) I NEVER GO ANY WHERE WITH OUT THEM.
BEST PURCHASE WOULD BE A ADJUSTABLE CIRCULAR POLARIZER SO THAT WAY THERE IS COMPROMISE IN GLARE REDUCTION. JUST REMEMBER, A POLARIZER
NOT JUST GETS RID IF GLARE/REFLECTION BUT BRIGHTENS COLOR,GLARE DULLS COLOR THE LESS YOU HAVE TO COLOR CORRECT ON THE PC/MAC THE MORE NATURAL THE PHOTOGRAPH WILL LOOK ,WHEN ENLARGED.
