Visitors to the Hanuman temple (The divine monkey diety who protects the Gods) in Hampi, India sit in peace with the monkeys who are seen are honorable guests at the temple.
Perhaps Hinduism is but refined pantheism. We have a lot to learn from the animals that have been on this earth for so much longer than we have.

One doesn't hear the word pantheism often these days. I consider myself a kind of zen pantheist incorporating the reverence without the worship. Be well.
